Personal Care
Plant-derived oils provide natural, trusted ingredients and are widely used in many personal care applications, including emollients for moisturizers, detergents, soaps, lotions, shampoos and many other personal care items.

Pharmaceuticals
Plants have long been valued for their medicinal qualities. Approximately 50% of all drugs contain plant-derived actives or excipients. However, no industry has more stringent regulatory requirements on quality, purity and consistency than the pharmaceutical industry.

Specialist Nutrition
The manufacturers of infant formulas and “functional foods” such as omega 3-enriched breads, eggs and dairy products, dietary supplements and sports nutrition products all depend on quality plant-derived oils as both active ingredients and carrier oils.
Medical Foods
Foods that have proven clinical data showing efficacy and safety for the dietary management of medical conditions are classified as “medical foods.” The active ingredients in many of these foods are derived from plants. Like pharmaceuticals, these plant-derived active ingredients must meet demanding standards for purity and consistency.
