“Crop Assured 365™” is Natures Crops International’s proprietary process of identity preservation. When you see the Crop Assured 365 seal, you can be assured that the crops and processes that went into the product are the highest quality available. Our exacting process of crop stewardship throughout the supply chain ensures against co-mingling through the utilization of segregation, isolation and containment, and is your guarantee of
absolute purity from soil to oil.

Identity preservation is possible only when the entire supply chain is carefully managed
and monitored, ensuring compliance with systems and protocols designed to protect the
purity of the crop and its products. This is especially important for end-products with
classifications such as “GM-free,” “organic,” or “produced under good
agricultural practice” where such scrupulous oversight is essential.

Our robust and documented Crop Assured 365™ process assures absolute traceability
and an auditable supply chain.

1. Seed source:   The quality of the finished product derived from a specialty crop is only as good as the quality of the planting seed. Nature’s Crops International works with leading seed companies, and research centers to identify and procure the highest quality planting seed for each customer.


2. Crop production:  Our growers are subjected to a formal approval process before we contract with them, and we partner with only the best, most reliable and most cost-effective growers to meet your needs. We require full record keeping and adherence to our own Crop Assured 365™ protocols to produce consistent, safe, traceable crops for processing. We specify haulage and storage conditions to avoid contamination. Growers are required to meet delivery assignments and have their materials graded and weighed before payment is made to them. For entirely new crops, we educate growers and compile ‘best practice’ guides for field production and crop handling.


3. Processing: Crops leaving the farm frequently go through a grain store or elevator site for cleaning, drying or grading prior to further processing. Our Crop Assured 365™ procedures ensure analysis, segregation and record keeping during this critical stage.


4. Oil Extraction/Refining:  We utilize both cold and expeller pressing and extraction methods of oil removal based on the crop and our clients needs. All extraction is carried out under defined IP processes and complies with all regulatory requirements such as GMP. Oil can be refined, bleached, deodorized or winterized as required, to deliver a product that meets demanding specifications for any market.


5. Delivery systems:  We offer packaging options tailored to our customers’ needs, including but not limited to drums, totes and flexi-bags. All containers are capped with nitrogen to reduce the risk of oxidation.
